The Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) made her debut in North America in 1991.... the year I was born! The SNES console is the 16-bit successor to the NES, delivering improved graphics, enhanced sound, and deeper gameplay experiences. It introduced a more ergonomic controller with four face buttons and two shoulder buttons, allowing for more complex controls in games. With Mode 7 graphics enabling pseudo-3D effects and a powerful sound chip co-developed by Sony, the SNES pushed gaming technology forward and Nintendo is still a huge player in the gaming industry today... maybe even the hugest!
